2023年2月5日（农历正月十五）下午5时，传临济正宗第四十八世、佛光山开山星云大师在佛光山传灯楼开山寮圆寂，世寿97岁。安徽九华山佛教协会特致唁电，表达对星云大师的沉痛哀悼。全文如下：
